The dreamed journey

Once, before there was Time…

… From an eternal and infinite Source of oneness, wholeness and peace we as one Son wished to be more individual. We wanted to be special and separate within oneness/perfection, which is impossible because of what oneness is.

Yet, one with Source, we also had the power to imagine our self projected away from and independent of Source.  We had the power to create (imagine/dream) anything. So we dreamed a universe and imagined that the one Son became many souls each of them able to be whomever they wanted.

Their experiences were limited only by the scope of their own imagination. The souls could be a part of whatever they chose… riding the winds of space and time exploring all that they had projected.

It was fun at first; it fulfilled the desire to be something or someone special and individual. A soul could occupy a part of creation and then withdraw and still be in touch and aware of its power and Source.

But the universe, once created and set in motion, had its own evolving course and current. When a soul chose to occupy or experience any part of that evolving flow there was the possibility of getting entangled, forgetting who it (the soul) really was and no longer remembering what it inherently was a part of.

The soul that is depicted in this art piece (right lower corner) has been lost and trapped in that flow of creation for a long time. He has played every role: man and woman, victim and perpetrator, rich and poor, within every race, creed and color trying to remember that something that has been missing within every experience.

He is sitting there filled with a sense of futility… something is wrong, something is missing.  Life doesn’t make sense, there doesn’t seem to be a way to win or even tie … it always ends in death.  There has got to be another way!

With that decision, he begins to question everything that he believed was true and starts a journey to discover who he is.
